Chamber Launches Summer Search

After the Roaring success of last years Dinosaur Search, we are pleased to announce we’ve just been given the go ahead to launch the 2020 Sodbury Safari Search.

From the 18th July there will be over 30 animals in the High St windows of Chipping Sodbury retailers and businesses.  Your job as intrepid explorers  is to find the names of all of the animals and compare them with the trail map.   “One” of the names will be missing !  That’s the answer you need to send us to be in with a chance of winning one of the animals at the end of the Search on 7th September.

Like last year, the animals are hand made by local toy maker “The Purple Saurus” based in Hatherell’s Yard.

To fit in with Social Distancing rules, were asking people not to touch windows, max group size of 6 and we aren’t going to print trail maps, instead they will be available to print on-line from MySodbury.co.uk and from the centre pages of the August edition of The Boundary Magazine.  Entries will only be via Txt message, we will not be collecting the maps back in this year.

Michelle one of the Chamber chairs said “We are really pleased to be able to announce this positive news.  We really hope the children will enjoy doing the search this year and the town will benefit from the extra footfall”

You can download a trail map from www.mysodbury.co.uk or keep an eye out for the August edition of The Boundary Magazine.
